Bill Cone Water is also experienced in installing DT-201 vault boxes. These boxes are inteded to cover water meters installed by local water authorities such as SCWA. SCWA requires a meter vault for any main larger than 4”. Bill Cone and his team perform various aspects of the installation, including excavation, installing all layers of the box (bottom, slab box, and cover), and the gravel at the floor level. For many of these DT-201 vault box jobs, we also install the main through the box, as well as the bypass around the meter vault.
For the following vault job, we installed a Bilco cover, due to the amount of available space surrounding the vault.
The following job was for a 4” domestic water service, and used a Bilco cover.
We installed a DT-201 vault box for a 4” domestic service and an 8” fire service for a new commercial building in Bay Shore. This vault called for a rounded cover due to the limited spacing surrounding the vault.
