Bill Cone Water installs and replaces water mains throughout Suffolk County. As you will see from the pictures below, water main work will often times include installing a new hydrant, or attaching an existing hydrant to a new main. Bill Cone is also on the short list of companies contracted to do water main work for the Suffolk County Water Authority, among many other authorities on Long Island.
We installed a new water main for a new commercial building across from HO Penn in Holtsville. For this job, we also installed a 2” domestic service, as well as a fire sprinkler line.
Part of our work on water mains involves tapping into live mains and improving their service. We tap fire lines and domestic services in addition to mains, as well as any privately-owned water mains.
